Screw the running game. It wasn’t working even with Conner there. Win, lose, or draw, let Murray air it out & target MHJ like 20 times. Good practice for Marvin lol.

Meniscus surgery out until second Seattle game at earliest. Unreal RB room went from strength of the offense to Carter, Demercado and Knight in 4 games

Amazing we are in this spot.

MO has truly dropped the ball on this entire "rEBuiLd".

WR's are his fault but RB was the strength of the offense, Conner maybe somewhat predictable at his age but this came out of nowhere he already had surgery on his meniscus from what I just read why they said day to day yesterday is beyond me

How far is the drop off between him and Michael Carter?

Carter is a good runner but not an everydown guy.

Ironically this makes trading for Breece Hall more likely and of course Hall is the one who replaced Carter with the Jets

only guess I have is there's some privacy issue as to why they didn't announce this yesterday because I've read 2 articles now that says he's already had the surgery on the meniscus.

Gannon also said he didn't hurt it on the last carry of the game he hurt it earlier in the game and played through it. So it appears he had surgery even as early as monday and that's why he wasn't at practice

I did just pick up Carter on waivers, only advantage to having a terrible fantasy team(thanks to McConkey and Thomas Jr) is I get waiver priority

Its his fault all around.

Depending on a 30yr old RB who likes contact and then depriving the offense of actual WR weapons is malpractice for a GM. The combo is where he dropped the ball.

I wonder if these players are forced to get surgery rather than stemcell/prp injections to heal it for more minor things like this.

I wonder if it's the same knee he messed up in college.

Tough break for Trey. Even tougher break for the RB room. I guess it's Carter on early downs and Demercado on passing downs? Or do they give Demercado more of an early down role, too? Either way, yikes.
What? Monti drafted ANOTHER injury case high?

RB1A has 111 career touches and 2 trips to injured reserve.

Benson had major knee surgery as a freshman in college. I don't know if it's the same knee or not but if I were him I'd get the surgery now too, he's in his 2nd year in the NFL he wants to get back on the field and earn his 2nd contract.

PRP and Stem cells are great if you're not in a hurry to get back but this isn't a season ending injury so yeah they're going to prioritize getting him back quicker.

Is it too much to ask for someone to step up and become the guy?
Demarcado?
Carter?
How about giving Bam Knight a shot? Just maybe the guy!?!
