I think Jamonit was on the "Beat Street" soundtrack. I loved hip hop ever since.

Awesome song. Reminds me of the whole breakdancing scene of the 80's.

Actually mid to late 80's was the best rap era.. And Im fortunate to have been able to be a part of it..

Ugh, rap in the 80s was doodoo. I'm so glad NWA came out and helped changed the landscape of rap.

Ice Cube did have a dope verse when he said, "If it wasn't for me you would still be rapping like the Treacherous 3, you F-ing cowards:

You're trippin' JPlay. Either you're limited in what you listen too, or you need to be put down with some classics. The 80's was phenomenal for hip-hop. The 90's is recognized as the golden era, but the 80's were no slouch fam.

Has anyone here heard of Andre Nickatina (Dre Dogg)? Conversation With A Devil is an amazing CD.

Did anyone get the new Nas? Is it any good?

Gee! Finally listened to that Nasir Jones piece......Pretty damn good!

He's got a few lukewarm joints, but overall he brings it. Lyrically he's a beast as usual. Good album.
