Who would have thought? Most of the NFL world is on fire this morning about some offseason drama, and for once, that confusion doesn't involve the Philadelphia Eagles, their star wide receiver A.J. Brown, or the defending AFC Champion New England Patriots. Someone send a bottle of champagne to Charm City. The Baltimore Ravens had originally agreed to terms on a trade to land Maxx Crosby, but as it turns out, that deal won't be finalized

That aforementioned trade included two first-round picks sent from Baltimore to Las Vegas, but the Ravens balked after a failed physical. They pivoted and found someone just as good, whom they feel more comfortable with. His name is Trey Hendrickson, an all-world pass rusher who joins their flock from a divisional rival.

Might the Eagles swoop in? It appears their rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, are interested. Dianna Russini shared the following via her X account:

The Philadelphia Eagles have had lines in to both Trey Hendrickson’s camp as well as Minnesota regarding Jonathan Greenard.

We’ll see what Howie Roseman decides to do after the Ravens take Hendrickson off the board. https://t.co/VZ99ZQlAa4

If the Eagles are interested in making their pitch, Russini also reports that teams still showing interest in Maxx Crosby believe the Las Vegas Raiders won't lower their asking price of two first-round picks at this time.

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. This is the NFL's version of Days of Our Lives. This is reality television at its finest.
