Nacua revisited the exchange during a conversation shared by Kay Adams, acknowledging that his timing and awareness could have been better.
He said, “No, not at all… my awareness skills were at 0 at that moment, [but] I don’t regret it at all. I’d still love to go skydiving.”
The comment came after Sweeney previously described her dream partner as sporty, athletic, and someone who enjoys skydiving. Nacua leaned into that description publicly, hoping it might spark a connection.
Instead, the moment quickly became a viral talking point, less about rejection and more about how confidently Nacua owned the attempt.
