Excellent book.

Just finished it today! Guy is a hell of a writer. Could do without the 5% of super cringy stuff he includes that make my eyes roll, but he can spin a yarn.

I'll tell you what, I really didn't like the beginning, the...well, see the spoiler.

I hated the in media res opening. Who am I? I don't really care. Oh no, my friends are dead? I don't know them, so what's the emotional impact for me? This is going to be all freaking flashback? Hell no.

So after the beginning, I was set for a long, long disappointment. Thankfully, I couldn't have been more wrong. A fabulous movie with incredible music that aided the story perfectly.
