He has always been much more pro Cards than anyone else, so this isn't really unexpected...

Not necessarily a bold prediction, to be honest.

We are playing at home, are on a hot streak, and the defense should shut down Alex Smith this time around.

For the niners, they have already clinched the division and are probably going to be without Patrick Willis. There may be a sense of apathy in this game for them, despite playing against a division rival. Remember when we clinched early in 2008? The team fell asleep until Week 17.

I think the Cardinals will be playing with more emotion. Just read Dockett's tweets for the week. He'll be out for blood.

I don't see the Niners taking a week off. The Saints are hot on their heels and there is no way SF wants to lose the homefield advantage and potentially travel to New Orleans. (especially when the Saints suck going west)

If the Cards win, they will have to have earned it. With Willis out, and Gore getting fewer touches, it may be a slightly easier road, but it will still require a great gameplan and execution.

I'm predicting a war, our defense will come to play, our offense will be facing one of the better defenses we've faced in a long while.

I wouldn't pick us personally, more like 60 40 in favor of the Niners but as usual it will probably hinge on who wins the turnover battle.

Stranger things have happened, but we haven't beaten this team in a long, long time. The only thing working in our favor is the fact that the Whiners may have an off week in terms of their focus, due to just clinching the division and perhaps feeling that we are a much worse team than them.
