With the 2026 NFL draft near, we will be taking a position-by-position look at where things stand with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The draft will take place from Apr. 23-25. Although the Jaguars are without a first-round pick, GM James Gladstone does have 11 picks in total to work with -- tied for the second-most in the NFL.

He also has four selections in the top 100, giving him the ability to still address key needs and the flexibility to let the board dictate what he does or move around as he sees fit.

Up next in our preview are the wide receivers. If you missed our other previews, you can find them below.

Jaguars' wide receivers under contract

  • Brian Thomas Jr.
  • Parker Washington
  • Jakobi Meyers
  • Travis Hunter
  • Chandler Brayboy
  • Tim Jones
  • Austin Trammell

Jaguars roster moves at wide receiver this offseason

  • Joshua Cephus was an exclusive rights free agent; however, the Jaguars non-tendered him. This, in turn, made Cephus an unrestricted free agent, able to sign where he pleased.
  • Dyami Brown signed with the Commanders as a free agent.

What is the need at wide receiver for the Jaguars in the 2026 NFL draft?

Although the Jaguars are positioned well at the top of the wide receiver depth chart with Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington, and Travis Hunter, depth and competition on the back end are still very much a need. As of now, the other wideouts on the roster are Austin Trammell, Tim Jones, and Chandler Brayboy. Jacksonville's pursuit of Jake Bobo tells us that Gladstone isn't done adding here -- although spending a premium pick at wideout isn't required.
