Yea I dont see it. Unless they have intel that the Raiders want Tua or Love.
I would assume that when discussing a trade-back, the team trading back asks the team trading up whom they intend to pick? Of course the team trading up could lie, but that would pretty much ruin a GM's ability to make trades ever again. @Harry, do you know whether this is common practice, and if so, whether a team trading up has ever lied and taken a different player than they said they'd take?

Q: "So who are you going to pick?"

A: "Stay glued to the TV, you're about to find out!"

Who are you going to trade back with - both Jets and Raiders might very well take him, Cleveland is not interested in trading up - so only team would be jacksonville - and I doubt they want to move up either.

So realistically - if we want Lamb, we have to take him at 8 IMO.

It's all about drafting best player available in a trade back. No guarantee Lamb is going to be there. He is a player I like in a trade back.
