- Winner: Royals
- Notes: Ragans looks to rebound after a tough first start of the season. He allowed 4 walks in 4 innings, something he will need to improve upon. Bradley only went 4.1 innings in his first start, but struck out 9 batters in the process.

- Score Prediction: 6-4
- Winner: Braves
- Notes: Lopez was excellent in his first start of the season, throwing 6 innings, allowing just 3 hits, 2 walks, and one run. That is much better than Nelson, who struggled in his first start, allowing 4 earned runs and 2 HR in just 4.2 innings.

- Notes: Both of these lefties pitched pretty well in their first starts of the season. Peterson went 5.1 innings, allowing no runs, striking out 3, and walking 2. Ray also went 5.1 innings in his start against the Yankees, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 4 batters.
