KEYSER, W.Va. — WVU Potomac State College outfielder Skyla Compton was named a second-team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Tuesday.
Compton led Region 20 in homers (20), RBIs (72), total bases (148) and slugging (1.213). She was third in runs (58), hits (65), average (.533) and on-base (.604)
Compton was also a second-team All-American last season.
It's the third consecutive year the Catamounts have produced at least one All-American.
