Surprise
Now that the combine has come and gone I am curious what everyone’s preferences are. It seems evident that if we stay at 3 we will draft one of these six players. You can select your two top players.

since Love is on the list

clearly a better prospect than Jeanty last year

how about vs Bijan Robinson?

Feels like he panned for going #9 overall in a better draft

Love is who I'm getting a lot more comfortable with. Positional value, meh. Most of this draft is mid. He's a home run and I think it is who we will select so I'm getting ready mentally.
That's where I'm at.
"Positional value" wise... Bailey is probably the safest choice...with Bain and Reese both having questions that would keep them out of the top ten in any other draft.....and RT's don't belong in the top ten either.
So, since positional value is out the window...look at impact. Not just on the field but in the sports bars... Runningbacks generate a lot of buzz...the fantasy football community will be ecstatic.

I remember watching the Lions, knowing they were most likely gonna lose, just to see Barry Sanders carry the rock.
A good back can make a bad team exciting to watch.

If they stay put I’d go Bailey. He’s the most certain to have an impact you likely can’t get in round 2. I believe a solid RT will still be available then. I like Bain, but not this early. Love will be a star but not without blockers.

I could be talked into it. I wouldn't want a repeat of the Adrian Peterson draft fiasco.

If the Cardinals seriously address the OL in FA then adding Love makes more sense. I'm still leaning heavily towards Bailey but I'm starting to get the feeling that he might go to the Jets at #2.

That would be the absolute height of stupidity. So, expect it to happen.
How? He has been mocked in the top 10 for many months now.

We need ILB & he’s more of a sure-firer ILB than Reese.

Part of the surprise with Bijan was that Allgeier had just had a very strong rookie season, so Bijan was VERY luxury.

We don't have anyone proven or healthy in our backfield.

Glad to see people coming around to Love.

I don't think he's a luxury pick. A true bellcow RB1 that can receive is going to touch the ball 300-350 times a season. That makes a huge difference to an offense.

You can argue that Bijan didn't get the Falcons into the playoffs, but I'd counter that with the Falcons lose 4 more games without him. Bijan turned that team from a max 4 win team to an 8 win team IMO.
