NORMAL, Ill. (WCIA) – Pleasant Plains girls’ basketball finished its season with a win.
The Cardinals beat Elgin-St. Edward 53-33 on Thursday night in the 2A third place game at Illinois State’s CEFCU Arena.
It’s a same-day bounce back win for TJ Fraase’s team after losing 48-40 to Breese Central in the semifinals Thursday afternoon.
Pleasant Plains finishes the season 31-3 overall.
