They're fine with it now, cause they are winning. Otherwise
Echoes my thoughts exactly. One of the quotes even said it pisses guys off sometimes. I'm not for babying these highly paid men by any stretch, and I love BA's candidness, but I have to believe that it would wear on guys after several years. That's just me though, I'm neurotic I suppose and don't like feeling like anyone is trying to manipulate me. I don't need motivation, pep talks, or speeches. I have all the motivation I need, it's called paying bills so my wife and I can continue to eat and watch cable TV and Netflix, what else is there? I can't give 110%, I give 100% all the time, it's the most anyone can give. First world problems, I know. (There are people in our lives who are able to pull more out of us than we ever thought possible, but those people are so few. Everyone thinks they're like that, but only a few are--the rest of them are just asses).
I guess my beef with it is calling out Campbell, one of our best defensive players. I don't see Campbell calling out anyone for not providing any quality LB play or front line play. He's it in the front seven along our D-line and LB core.
I will say this however, I'm quite sure it doesn't effect Campbell negatively. I'm sure coach knows he's mentally tough. BA's message, in my opinion, is intended for the other front 7. They hear that and look at a dude like Campbell, who's a beast, and they have to figure, if he's that badass and getting called out, then I'm not doing enough.
