Detroit — The Detroit Pistons plan to re-sign Javonte Green with a one-year, $3.9 million deal, a source close to negotiations confirmed to The Detroit News on Friday.
Despite joining the team a week before the start of training camp last year, Green played a huge role in the Pistons' 60-win season. He appeared in all 82 games, averaging 6.9 points on 38.1% shooting from behind the arc, while playing 17.6 minutes off the bench.
