Detroit — Ahead of free agency, the Detroit Pistons plan to re-sign sharpshooter Kevin Huerter, according to a Detroit News source who is familiar with the negotiations.
The contract is expected to be three years long and worth $27 million. The story was first reported by ESPN.
Huerter originally came to the Pistons in a three-team trade from the Chicago Bulls on Feb. 3. He played in 25 games for the Pistons after the trade, averaging 8.6 points per game on 44.3% shooting from the field and nearly 2.0 3-point field goals per game.
