The Philadelphia Phillies are adding needed bullpen help by acquiring reliever Brooks Raley from the New York Mets, according to USA TODAY MLB baseball columnist Bob Nightengale.
Raley, a nine-year veteran, is 5-5 with a 1.96 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in 41⅓ innings this season as a middle reliever.
