Tight end Julian Hill and safety Mike Brown are joining the reigning AFC champion New England Patriots in free agency.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Patriots agreed to terms with Hill and Brown on Wednesday.
Hill recorded 15 receptions for 140 yards for the Miami Dolphins in 2025. The North Carolina native has gone for 288 yards in his three-year career in the NFL.
Brown reunites with Patriots coach Mike Vrabel in New England after playing for the 2025 AP NFL Coach of the Year on the Tennessee Titans in 2023. He has allowed one passing touchdown and a 72.7 percent completion rate in his career.
The Patriots add to their tight end room with Hill after Austin Hooper agreed to a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons in free agency. New England also adds to their secondary with Brown after losing safety Jaylinn Hawkins to the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday.
