Nico Collins isn’t the only key Texans player who will be sidelined in Foxborough on Sunday.
Starting right tackle Trent Brown is out with an ankle injury. The former Patriot made the trip to New England and tested the ankle out in warmups, but it didn’t respond well enough. He’s inactive, along with Collins, Justin Watson, Jawhar Jordan, Alijah Huzzie and Graham Mertz (emergency third quarterback).
The 32-year-old had started eight games in Houston and helped to stabilize an offensive line that had issues early in the season. Tytus Howard started in Brown’s place.
New England got good news with their inactive list, as Harold Landry is healthy enough to play. He missed Friday’s practice and had been listed as questionable as he continues to manage a knee injury.
All of the Patriots’ inactives are healthy scratches: CJ Dippre, Marcus Bryant, Caedan Wallace, Eric Gregory, Bradyn Swinson, Kobee Minor, and Tommy DeVito (emergency third quarterback).
