The New England Patriots will be back to full strength on the defensive side of the ball in Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Houston Texans.

Christian Gonzalez, who went through concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in last week's wild-card game, has been cleared to play. The Pro Bowl cornerback is arguably the Patriots' best defensive player, and his presence in the defensive backfield is a major reason why the team had a top-10 passing defense this season.

Defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga is also set to make his return for the first time since the Patriots' Week 16 game against the Baltimore Ravens. Tonga being back on the field and helping out in the run defense is one of the most underrated news stories of the week. He is a massive space-eater who should cause problems for the Texans' offensive front, along with Milton Williams and Christian Barmore.

As for the Texans, they will be missing their top receiving option, Nico Collins, for the game. He is still in concussion protocol since the head injury he suffered in the wild-card playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night.
