Pat McAfee has made his presence felt before the 2026 NCAA Men’s College World Series even began, leaving the largest tip at Rocco's Pizza & Cantina for its annual CWS Jello Shot Challenge.

Rocco’s announced the record-breaking tip on it’s social media announcing latest update for the 2026 challenge, where initially Ole Miss baseball held a lead. That was until McAfee stepped foot in Omaha, Nebraska looking to get his alma mater, West Virginia, into the conversation.

The tweet stated:

“That escalated quickly! West That escalated quickly! @WVUBaseball is now top ten all time and they haven't even played a game yet! Special shout out to @PatMcAfeeShow for coming in and leaving the largest tip Rocco's has ever seen. Helluva guy. Let's play ball!”

West Virginia baseball has already made some CWS history before even stepping foot to play Charles Schwab Field. The Mountaineers’ fan base is up to 7,911 jello shots purchased, putting them ahead of all other teams. Following them are the Rebels with 2,088 and Troy with 1,127 shots purchased so far.

The Mountaineers are set to open up all the action at 1 p.m. CT against the Trojans, a fellow first timer in Omaha.
