The Oklahoma Sooners are gearing up for the SEC women's basketball tournament in South Carolina with two of the best players in the conference. Raegan Beers and Aaliyah Chavez were named to the SEC All-Conference teams on Tuesday, as voted on by the coaches.

Beers was selected to the first team, while Chavez, a true freshman, was named to the second team.

Beers led the SEC with 20 double-doubles and field goal percentage. She was the only player in the nation to average 15.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game this season.

Chavez was named SEC Freshman of the Week a record-tying eight times this season after leading the Sooners in points and assists in 2025-2026. She was the only freshman named to the SEC All-Conference teams, but wasn't named SEC Freshman of the Year by the league's coaches. Vanderbilt's Aubrey Galvan earned that distinction.

Under head coach Jennie Baranczyk, the Sooners have earned 16 all-conference selections.

The Oklahoma Sooners open the SEC women's basketball tournament on March 5. With a first-round bye, the Sooners await the winner of the game between Florida and Mississippi State. If OU were able to advance, they'll take on the LSU Tigers in the third round.
