The Oklahoma Sooners are gearing up for the super regional round of the NCAA Tournament this weekend, where they'll host Mississippi State. As the Sooners look to secure another trip to the Women's College World Series, they'll put one of the best lineups in softball on the field. It's been a record-setting season, and several Sooners earned All-American honors from Softball America on Tuesday.
Kendall Wells, Ella Parker, and Kai Minor earned first-team honors while Gabbie Garcia was named to the second team. The Sooners were the only team to place three players on the first team.
Wells, who is second in the nation in home runs this season, was named Softball America's Freshman of the Year. Minor was also named to the All-Freshman team.
Wells has hit 37 home runs this season, tied for the second-most in a season in college softball history. She's also hitting .351 with 81 RBIs and has been walked 40 times this season. Parker, who moved from primarily working in the designated player role in 2025 to Oklahoma's everyday right fielder, earned an outfield spot on the first team. She was also named to the SEC All-Defensive team. She's hitting .410 on the season with a career high 22 home runs and 63 RBIs.
Minor took over for Kasidi Pickering as the Sooners everyday lead-off hitter and has been phenomenal. She leads the Sooners with a .446 batting average and has 11 home runs, 17 doubles, 17 stolen bases, an OPS of 1.276, and 45 RBIs this season.
Garcia has been tremendous at shortstop again this season, earning All-SEC defensive honors along with hitting .406 with 22 home runs and 73 RBIs, both of which are career highs.
The Oklahoma Sooners will begin the Super Regionals against Mississippi State on Friday afternoon at Love's Field.
