WNBA star Paige Bueckers continues to go from strength to strength and she revealed the specifics she learned about from working out with NBA legend Kevin Durant.

Paige Bueckers just played in her second WNBA All-Star game in as many seasons. The Dallas Wings star continues to grow into a bona fide superstar.

Bueckers’ stats in her sophomore season are already mirroring that of Caitlin Clark, who is widely considered the best young player in the league.

And she’s not sitting idly by either, she is making sure she continues to improve. After a recent workout with none other than Kevin Durant, she opened up on the experience.

Paige Bueckers highlights Kevin Durant’s footwork among other things she learned​

Durant has a case to be considered the best scorer in basketball history. KD’s bag is unmatched, his shooting is impeccable, and there is a lot that any young player can learn from him.

After managing to get in an afternoon workout with the Slim Reaper in Chicago, she listed the various things she took from the valuable experience.


“It was really cool. It’s really fun to see his footwork and his balance and how low he plays – I think he’s almost seven feet tall, and he gets lower than me,” Bueckers said.

“I see the work, and I see how much further along he is than me. And just watching the little nuances of his game that have made him one of the best scorers of all time… It was great to work out with him.”

Bueckers is averaging nearly 21 points per game in the WNBA this season.. If she improves even further, she might be putting herself in MVP conversations sooner rather than later.
