The WNBA All-Star weekend gave players a chance to step away from regular-season competition. Paige Bueckers, however, treated the break differently. After another standout game for the Dallas Wings, the sophomore guard made time for something that caught Kevin Durant's attention before the festivities even began.

Bueckers wasted little time before returning to work after helping the Dallas Wings beat the Portland Fire on July 23. Less than a day after scoring 21 points in the victory, she boarded an early morning flight to Chicago for a shooting workout with Durant.
Footage from the session surfaced through Wings Bulletin after celebrity photographer Miles Diggs first shared clips on Instagram. Durant later reposted the workout on his Instagram story and reacted to Bueckers' schedule.
"You a machine bro, you was just playing last night," Durant said in a video shared by Wings Bulletin during their workout in Chicago.
Durant also shared the training session on his Instagram story with the caption, "Is this allowed?"
The workout came before a busy All-Star weekend for Bueckers. She attended league events, walked the orange carpet, and represented Team Coop in the All-Star Game.
"The vibes are getting lit. For three days straight, electrolytes. Fun times, parties and a little bit of hoops," Bueckers said in a video shared by the WNBA before All-Star weekend.
Her performance this season explains why she entered the break as one of the league's biggest attractions. Bueckers leads the Wings with 20.9 points and 6.2 assists per game while adding 4.2 rebounds. She is shooting 49.2 percent from the field with a 61.0 true shooting percentage and accounts for 29.1 percent of the team's assists.
Dallas has built an 18-9 record and sits fourth in the WNBA standings. Bueckers also served as Team Coop's captain during the All-Star Game, finishing with 12 points, seven assists, and one steal in a 129-122 loss to Team Spoon.
