Pacers @ Suns Saturday game thread 3-13-2021

The Suns return home for a five game home stand starting with the Pacers on Saturday, the Grizzlies on Monday, the Timberwolves on Thursday-Friday and the Lakers on Sunday.

Pacers 16-19, start a brutal three game road trip facing the Lakers on Friday before they face the Suns on Saturday. They also play at the Nuggets on Monday.

Suns are 25-11 and fresh off a 127-121 win at Portland on Thursday. They have won five games in a row and are 8-2 in their last ten games.

The game will be televised on FSAZ.

Start time is listed at 8 p.m. Arizona time.

That wouldn't make sense unless it was the Suns with too few players as the Pacers are playing the Lakers right now. Still, not much surprises me when it comes to Covid.

The Suns had three games canceled in January, one of which was the Pacers game. My best guess is that NBA.com has not properly updated this page.

Over the next 13 games, the Suns only play ONE team that has a record of 3 games over .500. That’s a lot of mediocre->bad teams on the docket in front of us.

someones already posted that brutal 7 game stretch to the end the season. This is the stretch where we could really give ourselves a cushion in the division or at least amongst the top 4 should we get a little beat up at the end of the year.

they’ve got Indy, Grizzlies, Minny and Minny up next before another showdown with the Lakers. We come away from that stretch anything less than 4-1 and it’ll be a disappointment.

I'd say they should go 3-2 if they decide to rest Paul or Booker. 4-1 if everyone is playing though.

Well Booker is on the injury report still and CP3 is just old. I'd like to see some load management with Paul and since Booker banged his knee again in the last game I wouldn't mind seeing him sat for a game or two.
