okc is obviously the better team but i think it'll be harder for us to compete with denver just because jokic - last time he didn't even try to score just picked us apart and did some weird villain ish of his own - idk what to expect tonight

Not only that but Mark Williams probably isn't available for us based on our season history so far.

ETA: What @JCSunsfan said.

we don't have answers for jokic or aaron gordon - guessing williams gets the night off - i'd be surprised if dunn or grayson play - gillespie and goody limped off last night

this is looking like the type of game where book drops 30+ but to no avail

Nuggets are gonna be tired as well- they lost to the Spurs last night. They are not terribly deep either. That said, Denver is probably gonna be mad after last night, so who knows how it plays out.

Gordon's out for another month or so, isn't he? But yeah, if he plays we have no answer for him.

Mad doesn’t mean better. Never really does. Maybe they focus more on their mistakes after last night.

This will be a coaching test. It will be interesting to see if Ott has a strategy for Jokic.

I am thinking a fast paced game might tire him.

Mark Willliams only played 22 minutes last night. He's probably out, but maybe there's a chance he plays?

I know the team is sticking to his schedule but at some point I wonder if they are going to stop trying to protect him? His presence is huge on the court. Even Ott made the comment they need him on the court. Man the person making that decision doesn't have a fun job.

As much as the Suns need Williams on the court, he is so injury prone, that I really have no problem with their cautious approach. He’s the key to sustained success over the course of the whole season.

they asked williams couple weeks ago(?) if he'd eventually start playing back to backs

i don't think he was feeling it at all - he said something like they have a plan in place and that it's working

i don't know why he doesn't back to back and i don't want to make any uneducated guesses - but the no back to back kink might be why the lakers passed on mark williams

It's not like he's old, he's 23. His injury history is concerning, but there's little other reason why he shouldn't be able to suit up tonight given his relatively light outing last night, even if it's only for another 20-25 minutes.

Yeah, that's why I said the guy making that decision doesn't have a fun job and also why I am hesitant to trade Richards. Like him or not, he is a legit big body. I remember when this team was so razor thin that all we heard every game was how we played small and needed legit big men. I just don't think Man Man is ready and Oso has improved as of late but it's still a small sample size.

It’s also why I’m not in a rush to sign Williams to a contract extension. His injury history is so bad that we need to see if this kind of plans actually has legs… pun kinda intended.

After this season is going to get real interesting. Williams health should be know by then. I think Richards is a free agent after this season (I have not checked). It might not be as big a deal if Oso continues to progress but he still can't shoot anywhere away from the basket. Then I have no clue what Ishbia is willing to do over the 1st apron which is going to be a chunk next season.
