Brett Rypien's comparison to Kurt Warner:
1. Both undrafted.
2. Both came from non elite FB schools, though from good fb programs.
3. Both about 6'2.
4. Both got to start because of injuries.
5. Both not super athletic.
6. Both are easy to root for.

My favorite part of that was the Broncos own team working the game. On the TD to Jeudy the guy said "the kid made a good throw there, Brett Rypien." That was a total underthrow and just a turn an INT into a TD play.

I feel bad for Jeudy he's had some drops and he's playing with bruised ribs but man he needs a better QB. Rypien is ok for an undrafted guy but he just doesn't have the arm strength. On the year Jeudy now has 15 catches in 27 targets, that's not that great at all. I've seen parts of 3 of his games, he gets open they can't get him the ball, a couple of times they have and he dropped it.

Lamb in that regard has a much better chance to excel this year playing with Dak.

I think the stats pretty much show that JJ is making more, with less, than Lamb.

15-28 targets for JJ, 16-22 for Lamb but I think that's a function of the QB and who they're playing with.

I think both will be great would have been happy with either. I prefer Jeudy but Lamb made sense here because of Kyler.

I'm still ok with Simmons but if it lingers and he still can't get on the field then yeah passing on them, or a DB or OL will look bad.

Totally agree. I think the JJ/Lamb debate will be like Boldin/Fitz, at the end of the day.

If the Cards can’t get a working blitz package against these Jet guys, they need a new play designer.

Wasn't he agreeing with you? Didn't see the original post.

Man I love reading @Solar7 , but that has to be the worst take he has ever had.

Adam Gase just destroys every team he touches. And he hires Greg Williams! That guy is a complete scumbag.

The best thing to ever happen to Ryan Tannehill is getting away from Gase. He will be Darnold's undoing, too.

Yeah, really why is Gregg Williams allowed to make a living in the NFL? He should be doing community service at a minimum.
