Houston is taking a QB if they trade up. They aren't rolling with Mills long-term, IMO.
Right...but the Bears will take Anderson at 2 is what I'm saying. We need any other team to trade up to 1 for us to get him, or if Bears do two trades.

I'm not taking Carter at 3 if I'm the Cardinals.
Not super productive and also has reckless character tendencies. Yes he is a kid, but I'm not going to knowingly take him with this issue.

There are more option for Hopkins than just a straight first.
For example, KC's pick #31 with our pick #104 going the other way equals pick #39. Which is about the right ball park.
#31 with our #66 going the other way is equivalent to pick #56.
Lots of permutations that could see the 1st included.

I think Raiders and Colts will be more in play for #1 now.
We can only hope.
I'm oddly less bother about the stupid driving (who hasn't at that age?) than I am about the lying and cover up.
He should have owned up to it back when and it would have been cleared through the system and addressed by now. Likely wouldn't effect his draft stock. Now it very likely will.

I could see KC. When you win a Super Bowl, you have to make a big move or two to be competitive for the next run.
The Rams last year tried to rest on their laurels and thought they could trade in a aging Von Miller for an aging Bobby Wagner. And then their horrific lack of depth they had been running with for years caught up to them.

Everything we had heard about Carter up until this point was that he was a damn choir boy. Agreed this should affect his draft stock. With top five picks, I'm looking for near spotless character.

For Carter I actually think him dropping to a team like the Eagles works out perfect.
Would have a vet like Fletcher Cox to show him the way.

The lying is amplified, with the crash and fatalities. If they had just been busted racing and lied about that, it would be a big deal, but not a career altering issue.
