Tough player and coach. Became the Broncos head coach at only 37 years old. RIP.

I actually met him in Denver at a business reception when he was coach of the Broncos. He was the guest speaker and joined us for a small reception after his speech. He just had a coke as it was during the season. He was very friendly and a real gentleman. RIP, Coach.

Me too. My stepmom was his secretary with the Broncos in the 80's. I got to hang out at the practice facility - met Coach Reeves, Tony Dorsett, John Elway, Karl Mecklenburg, etc. I have an autographed football from them somewhere. Very friendly and Coach as a great person/well respected. RIP.
