RIP Roman Gabriel. Great memories of watching him play.

One of my favorites as well. I remember him taking two steps back and throwing it as hard as he could and Billy Truex (sp) would catch it in stride and keep trucking. Not sure how he could even see it much less catch it.

He is responsible for one of my worst football memories. He hooked up with Harold Carmichael and Don Zimmerman to rally the Eagles past the Cards 27-24, the latter on the last play of the game, IIRC. That loss stuck with me until 2001 when we beat the Eagles in 2001 on a similar fashion.
