it happens man - we ordered portillos once - took over and hour and the app wasn't working - portillos didn't know what was going on - then we saw a door dasher delivering food next door but it was too dark out to make out the bag - so i went out there with a knife...

sanchez is a big guy and door dashers usually carry protection of some sort - report sounds like sanchez got into the dashers car where im guessing the knife play happened? i don't know why sanchez would have a knife but he mighta got stabbed - took it and then returned the favor

i have my usual USC jokes at the ready but considering he’s in critical condition after surgery I’m going to leave ‘em on the shelf.
My first thought is his kids. Their lives just got turned upside down.

I am not seeing he's in critical condition is that being reported somewhere? I saw he got stabbed in an altercation that it appears he started by climbing into a door dashers car but I haven't seen the critical condition report
We were traveling (Fresno and back) for a fair and the way I first heard it reported was that he was in critical condition after being stabbed.

Indy Star said he was originally admitted in critical condition updated to stable.
The 69 year old man parked his truck in the back of a restaurant to collect used cooking oil(?), Sanchez started screaming at him, entered the car and started beating the guy. In self defense the guy stabbed Sanchez.
Sanchez faces 3 charges when he's out of the hospital.
From what has been reported Sanchez was intoxicated

Apparently the cooking oil is a thing they think the guys truck has been converted to run on cooking oil so he collects it from restaurants(used) to run his truck.
