@Chris_Sanders

Kyler has ZERO playoff TDs. Unless you count that pass to the Rams defense for one of their TDs.

This was the first playoff game for Payton Manning. He started his playoff career 0-3.

Cool. How long did it take him to get back to the playoffs? It looks like he went twice in his first three seasons? He won his first two playoff games by his age 27 season? And all this happened over 25 years ago?

Wish we had a guy like that. No one here thinks Kyler is anywhere as good as Payton Manning. What is this comparison supposed to illustrate, exactly?

Manning by 27 had also won the MVP, and was top 5 two other times.

Though it is pretty dang funny question. I asked AI for the NFL Cardinals all time playoff completion leader:

Kyler is #5. Hilariously awful.

Passing TDs in the playoffs:

Warner
Palmer
Lomax
Hart
Kyler
Skelton

lol
Instead of asking AI dumb stuff, use your time better and Google for BIM. Jeez

2005 NFL average completion percentage 62.5%
2015 NFL average completion percentage 63%
2025 NFL average competion percentage 65.3%

So a 3.2% completion percentage raise in 20 years. So adjust down the variance and on par with Warner and still better than Palmer. So 2nd most accurate QB in franchise history instead of most?
But as you noted in one of your earlier posts, Palmer was chucking the ball downfield more than Murray.

Palmer's 7.6 yards per attempt (with Arizona) resulted from a 62.5% completion rate at 12.2 yards per completion.

Warner's 7.5 yards per attempt (with Arizona) resulted from a 65.1% completion rate at 11.6 yards per completion.

Murray's 7.0 yards per attempt resulted from a 67.1% completion rate at only 10.5 yards per completion. It's easy to have a higher completion percentage when you're a checkdown Charlie.

BTW, in his first three years Murray was a bit better, with 7.3 yards per attempt, resulting from a barely lower 66.9% completion rate at 10.9 yards per completion. But in his last three years, Murray has only managed 6.7 yards per attempt, resulting from a 67.3% completion rate at only 9.9 yards per completion. In 2024, Murray ranked #26 of 36 qualifiers with only 10.4 yards per completion.

Again, the 30 for 30 on how the Packers loss broke Kyler Murray’s brain is going to be EPIC

Now that’s funny lol. So, now you want to criticize Murray for not being as good as 3 of the GREATEST QB’s in NFL history? And for the record, Mahomes & Lamar were drafted by perennial winning organizations where a culture of success had already been established. And I’m pretty sure I’ve never said that I would prefer Murray to Allen either. All I’ve said is that Murray hasn’t been blessed having been drafted by the hapless Cardinal franchise. I will say this….Had we drafted Bosa & the Niners then took Murray, the Niners would have won at least 2 Super Bowls with him. The Cardinals had the 1st pick in 2019 draft because the 2018 team was downright pathetic. Meanwhile, the only reason the Niners picked 2nd is because they had more injuries than any football team that I can remember.
Be careful.. roster composition and frankly composition matters the IHKC would never understand this

Hey, its wasn't me who focused on Kyler's playoff start. The point remains, Peyton is the second best QB to ever play the game and it he struggled in the playoffs early. That cannot be disputed. Kyler won't sniff Peytons career success either.

Facts don’t care about your feelings.

Ehhh thats a good thing for sure. But the fact is that Kyler himself outright said he doesn't watch extra films. Said he doesn't need to and feels like he can feel what's gonna happen and it wasn't necessary IHO... Its paraphrasing but basically a direct quote after being in the league for a few years already. If he has matured past that then AWESOME!

Sure but that is still top 3 all time QB performance. Outside of the playoff start, he is better than anyone not named Palmer and Warner.

That's a simple fact.
Although he is still only .oo137% above Jake Plummer.
He can mane that up with a playoff win over dallas...or the Lambs.

Sad really. He easily ranks among the franchise greats.
But still. Nobody with an unbiased viewpoint can honestly say that his level of play and accomplishments to this point are acceptable.

Agreed! I do think we can win with him at his current salary.

Now if we make the playoffs and he wants another big extension I am out

Anything to put down K1 even if its absolutely untrue.

Please give me a D Adams here in the desert post packers.

I just pray to swee baby Jesus that MHJ is the real deal. God knows the other WRs on this roster aren't.
Well if MHJ isn’t it’s all his fault but if he is awesome it will be because of Kyler.
Am I reading you right?
