So the Lions were wrong when they took Penei Sewell? Interesting take.I get drafting a RT but not with the 3rd pick in the draft. And that's what Monti is going to do.

Higher? LOL. We'll throw a parade when he actually wins a game. It's so rare for anyone to win a game as a Cardinal not named Kyler Murray since he was drafted...and there have been plenty of opportunities. Our ceiling is probably 3 or 4 wins this year as it looks now.Do you think it should be higher or lower? His best season ast a full-time starter produced 7 wins.
I was thinking more of the chances of making the playoffs...Texas has higher property taxes but no state income tax. I’d probably lean Texas just out of financial considerations even if Houston wasn’t in a better place.
Time to make some money!!Free Agency is going great.
Monti is Cooking!

Cousins at this point is no different than BrisketThe talking heads on NFL network indicated that Cousins wants $10MM plus to sign, and he's willing to wait it out. He won't be available until tomorrow, but I'd take him on a one or even two year contract over Brissett. I need some hope for this season.
He's proven that he can be a winning QB, which is something Brissett hasn't done.
They took him to be LTOF, which he will be now that they're moving in from Decker. Interesting! So the Lions were wrong when they took Penei Sewell? Interesting take.
We are for sure moving out of 3. The question is who wants to trade up?This def feels like the 2003 offseason all over again. I’m just waiting for us to trade out of the pick with a pass rusher staring us in the face again like we did with Suggs to get more Calvin Pace/Skillet Hands of the world.
And yet they were still able to outbid us for a QBxc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

What kind of hope would that give you?!?The talking heads on NFL network indicated that Cousins wants $10MM plus to sign, and he's willing to wait it out. He won't be available until tomorrow, but I'd take him on a one or even two year contract over Brissett. I need some hope for this season.
Not a bad price. Oh well. Wonder if we offered.Houston signed Braden Smith. 2Y, 25M, 13.5 guaranteed. Good thing we’re set at o-line.
Their extensive career histories beyond last year? What kind of hope would that give you?!?
Cousins with Atlanta: 24 games, 28 TDs, 21 INTS, 218 yds/game, 87.2 passer rating.
Brissett with Arizona: 11 games, 23 TDs, 8 INTs, 240 yds/game, 94.1 passer rating.
Big difference: Cousins had more wins than losses... but that's with a team that was ranked 10th & 8th for rushing offense, and 23rd & 15th on defense in 2024-2025, while the Cardinals were ranked 31st in rushing and 27th on D in 2025.
Tua to Falcons
is it cheap? They just ate all of itSo the issue was the Cardinals were unwilling to eat a large part of the contract. Cheap.
