Their extensive career histories beyond last year?

This is such a weird take by you.
Cousins will be 39 and hasn't looked anywhere near the same post Achilles injury. I guess you could hope he'll improve a la Aaron Rodgers, who went from a career 103.6 passer rating before injury, to 90.5 the year after, then bounced back slightly to 94.8 the second year removed.

But Cousins went from a career 98.2 passer rating to 88.6, then 84.8. Believing he'll be significantly better than Brissett at this point seems like the weird take to me... and certainly shouldn't be the difference between being hopeless and hopeful (again... of what, exactly?) for this season.

I guess we shall see.

Man, there’s always an excuse why the Cards can’t compete and shouldn’t try

Is Cousins sucks really an excuse?

So just to be clear, you are saying we should sign Cousins and that Cousins is 100% better than Brissett? Despite Brissett having a far superior season with no running game, a worse O line, and half his wide receivers out for most of his games.

Say those words.

I sure have advocated for Kirk. And you asked what available QB could result in 7-9 wins...I gave you the answer.

So just to be clear, it's your position that Kirk Cousins, who had a 10/5 ratio, 172 YPG and 84 passer rating and 6.4 YPA is a better option than Jacoby with his 23/8, 240 YPG, 94 passer rating and 6.9 YPA.

That's your position? That we should bring in the clearly worse guy who has no rapport with his receivers because...why?

This board is hilarious.

People are stanning for Kirk freaking Cousins, who has sucked the last few years, because they think he might get us 2 more wins and rob us of a chance to draft a QBOTF.

The reality is, it's just an excuse to moan about the reality of the situation. Had we brought in Cousins on day one for $10m the same people would be moaning their ass off about us burning $10m in cap space and missing out on our future QB for the same of maybe a couple more wins.

Not sure what you mean. It's what's being reported.

I mean it looks like agent numbers.

Need to see guarantees but I would think it's more a 2 year $30m per deal that the Ravens can get out of for nothing or next to nothing after that.

Yeah, no thanks on Cousins. Just no.

4 years for a 32 year old? Got to be fudged numbers.
you say that about all the big contracts. You do realize there is a market out there to acquire talent? Guys like Allegeier, Collier, Lopez, etc. get paid lowly because they are low end players. I guess that's what you want to stock the Cards with.

Cousins is better than Brissett and a more legitimate starter. I have zero doubt of this.

Should we sign Cousins? Man I dunno. If MLF wants him then sure?

You can think (along with most of the NFL cognoscenti) that Cousins is better than Brissett and also believe it wouldn’t make a big difference in the final result. This isn’t difficult stuff.

What does their extensive career histories have to do with what they are now?

Let's get Cam Newton in then, he's younger than Cousins.

Is whether more data is better than less good an actual question you’re asking?

I’m not in the banning mood. Someone else maybe. But could you please stop calling out fans. Last warning. Geez

Because he won 5 games last year and Jacoby won 1.

Kirk is 12-10 over the past two seasons with the Falcons. What is sad is your preference to back losing vs winning in support of a franchise that is incompetent. Lots of ways to find a QBOF without having the 1 pick.

Cousins was better than JB through his career, but he's so ancient now he's auncient. How many more games do the cards win with Cousins than JB?

You're imagining things. Show me all these posts where I have said that.

Trey Hendrickson was going to sign with the Colts before the Ravens failed Maxx Crosby’s physical and pivoted to him, per
@RapSheet
.

Now, Indianapolis must pivot themselves after being all-in on Hendrickson and missing out on the other top pass rushers in the process.
