Do you think it should be higher or lower? His best season ast a full-time starter produced 7 wins.
Higher? LOL. We'll throw a parade when he actually wins a game. It's so rare for anyone to win a game as a Cardinal not named Kyler Murray since he was drafted...and there have been plenty of opportunities. Our ceiling is probably 3 or 4 wins this year as it looks now.

Texas has higher property taxes but no state income tax. I’d probably lean Texas just out of financial considerations even if Houston wasn’t in a better place.
I was thinking more of the chances of making the playoffs...

The talking heads on NFL network indicated that Cousins wants $10MM plus to sign, and he's willing to wait it out. He won't be available until tomorrow, but I'd take him on a one or even two year contract over Brissett. I need some hope for this season.

He's proven that he can be a winning QB, which is something Brissett hasn't done.
Cousins at this point is no different than Brisket

Sources: The #Packers are signing former #49ers WR/returner Skyy Moore to a 1-year deal.

Moore averaged 27.5 yards per kick return and 11.6 yards per punt return in San Francisco — a key weapon for field position.

This def feels like the 2003 offseason all over again. I’m just waiting for us to trade out of the pick with a pass rusher staring us in the face again like we did with Suggs to get more Calvin Pace/Skillet Hands of the world.
We are for sure moving out of 3. The question is who wants to trade up?

The #Steelers agreed to terms with DT Cam Heyward on a contract extension worth $32.25M, including $16.25M fully guaranteed, per sources. The deal carries $18M in new-money APY, making it the largest contract ever awarded to an NFL defensive player age 36 or older. It’s Heyward’s fifth contract with Pittsburgh in a deal done by Priority Sports.

Sources: Former #Chiefs LB Leo Chenal is signing with the #Commanders for 3 years $24.75M.Chenal, just 25, won two Super Bowls in Kansas City and was a starter for 44 games. A strong addition.

What kind of hope would that give you?!?

Cousins with Atlanta: 24 games, 28 TDs, 21 INTS, 218 yds/game, 87.2 passer rating.
Brissett with Arizona: 11 games, 23 TDs, 8 INTs, 240 yds/game, 94.1 passer rating.

Big difference: Cousins had more wins than losses... but that's with a team that was ranked 10th & 8th for rushing offense, and 23rd & 15th on defense in 2024-2025, while the Cardinals were ranked 31st in rushing and 27th on D in 2025.

Their extensive career histories beyond last year?

This is such a weird take by you.
