He has applied for one more year of eligibility from the NCAA. So, maybe? He, like Simpson, has only one year of starts.
def looks like he has talent

So we draft Zach Branch in the 3rd round, Zion Branch in the 5th round and either of those kickers in the 6th round. Zion is nearly as fast as Zach but he's played 3 seasons at safety and hasn't had a single INT yet.

At Ole Miss. He led his previous team, Ferris State to the division to championship
Well, who knows now?

Chambliss, when he applied for the waiver, said it would be good for him to get another year of experience. But, of course, he wasn't thought of as more than a mid round pick at that time. At the beginning of the year, no one thought he would start, but would be a backup.

He could also enter the transfer portal if he gets another year.

If he went from backup college QB to a high first round draft pick in eight months it would be one of the most Cinderella stories ever.

That's fine with me. TC was the one who filed for another year of eligibility and said he could use another year of experience. Maybe he's changed his mind?

It's very good day to be him. It's an even better day to be his agent. Bryce Underwood got 10.5 to 12.5 million in NIL money to QB at Michigan and he hadn't even won anything like TC has. So that is definitely an option also. Ole Miss could very well get that much, or more, together to have him stay one more year.

IU isn’t even in the top 10 in NIL spending. You’re not giving Cignetti enough credit.

I actually can't find the number and Cuban has refused to give it but if you have a number I'd like to see it. On3 says Mendoza got 2.6 million one of the highest in college football although it went up during the year as he got a bigger name. I don't know how much of that came from Cuban he hasn't made it public
