Declined the Pop Tart Bowl? Or something else
No I believed they were in the voting but pulled themselves out of consideration.
They might not have been chosen but the told the committee they were declining.
I believe it was coming down to Notre Dame or Alabama.

They were not selected. They didn’t decline a spot in the playoffs.

ND should just like South Florida, or was it Central, did a few years ago and declare themselves national champs.

ND already does that really. They just don’t say it out loud.
They are such crybabies. Straight up lost to Miami and A&M. Then beat up on a soft schedule with USC being their best win of the season.

If you really want to talk about who wasn't deserving Tulane and JMU were obviously not in the top 12 teams. But people seem to want to watch these teams get blown out 19 out of 20 times for that one time they are not. Which hasn't happened yet.

They didn’t let ND in because the conferences want ND to share the wealth.

Since they got blown out (like other teams did) they aren't deserving?

JMU got in because the CFP, in order to avoid lawsuits guaranteed the top 5 conference champions an autobid. Tulane took one. ACC should have taken the other, but they had stupid tiebreakers that allowed Duke to be in the CCG instead of Miami.

Alabama wasn’t deserving because they weren’t good.

I didn’t think Miami was good but they were. So how much should losing to them in September with a new QB hurt them?
