I actually can't find the number and Cuban has refused to give it but if you have a number I'd like to see it. On3 says Mendoza got 2.6 million one of the highest in college football although it went up during the year as he got a bigger name. I don't know how much of that came from Cuban he hasn't made it public

Apparently ON3 wants me to pay to see IU's NIL beyond just Mendoza.

Drafting a guy who didnt even open the season as the starter is a very Cardinal thing to do.
You might think cooler heads would prevail. But... Trey Lance, Anthony Richardson come to mind.

Oh 100%. Just saying if the idea of calling him out as a coaching candidate for us is the job he did at IU, realize he won't have the advantage here he does there. He won't be able to outspend people.

I do think he's done a great job. In college 100% it shows with NIL the game has shifted.
I like his OC, Mike Shanahan.
He has not just been part of winning clubs...at each stop he elevated players...he had guys win PoW for the conference and stuff like that which indicate it was directly related to his efforts

Nobody will say how much but yes when they hired Cignetti, Cuban admitted he talked to him and was so impressed he made a "Big" donation saying he'd never really donated to sports before at IU but decided to do so. Cignetti convinced him if they had the funds they could compete so he gave them the funds
When you are at a disadvantage in recruiting having a billionaires backing goes a long way.

Pretty funny if they had kept just the top 4, the playoffs would have been Indiana, OSU, Georgia, Texas Tech. Only IU remains.

Yeah I found that one too but it didn't have any actual numbers so I think they're just guessing like the rest of us what IU's NIL is.

He's done a great job getting players and fitting them in, just saying it's different in the NFL because everyone has a cap you can't just get guys by spending more, well you can but you'll end up like Buddy Ryan did overpaying for over the hill guys.

That's exactly how UCLA got Dante Moore

This is great to see. With Georgia also losing the heads at ESPN must be exploding since they are so biased towards the SEC.
When the brackets came out ESPN was looking at 2 championship games they could hype up. Indiana Vs Ohio State and Georgia Vs Alabama. Both rematches. Now those are toast.

Richardson has played in 17 games in 3 years.
He has barely completed 50% of his passes. He’s thrown 11 tds and 13 picks.
What could go wrong?

The reason why I mentioned Richardson was how he became a one year wonder in the NFL draft. I wasn't saying to get him or Trey Lance to start for us.
