The Oregon Ducks men's basketball squad will be in action today as they're set to take on the Maryland Terrapins in the first round of the 2026 Big Ten Tournament. The Ducks, due to their 5-15 conference record, come in as the No. 16 seed and will be the home team, though the tournament is taking place at the United Center in Chicago, IL. Maryland, per their 4-16 record and 17th-place finish in the Big Ten, will be the away team.
The two squads matched up in early January, with Oregon coming away with a resounding 64-54 win on the road in which both Nate Bittle and Takai Simpkins scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Meanwhile, the Terrapins were led by Solomon Washington, who scored a team-high 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Both teams are playing for their seasons, as the only way that they make the NCAA Tournament is if they run the table and win seven games in seven days to claim the automatic bid as the Big Ten champion. The road starts today, as the Ducks and Terrapins do battle in Chicago, where we'll be providing updates and analysis on all the action.
Oregon vs. Maryland will be streamed on Peacock.
The Oregon Ducks and Maryland Terrapins game starts at 2:00 p.m. PST on Tuesday, March 10 at United Center in Chicago, IL.
