The Oregon Ducks' pass rush remains a big talking point and a big reason for the excitement in Eugene this upcoming season. The Ducks welcome the return of Teitum Tuioti, one of the best pass rushers in the country.
In a recent article, Logan Brown highlights the Ducks' top players heading into this season. Here is what he had to say about Teitum Tuioti being a preseason All-American and what to expect from him this season:
"Tuioti turned in his best season as a Duck in 2025, racking up career highs in tackles (68), sacks (9.5) and pass breakups (five). Along Oregon's veteran defensive line, Tuioti stands out as a well-rounded player against the run and creating pressure in the pocket. Working opposite Matayo Uiagalelei, who surprisingly did not make either All-American team, Tuioti is afforded more one-on-one pass rush opportunities and can easily wreak havoc in the backfield."
Tuioti will be a force this season in the Big Ten and a big problem in the game vs the Trojans in Week 5. Elijah Paige is a player who will face his best test of the season vs future first-round draft pick Tuioti. It will also be a great game for him to strengthen his perception in the Big Ten and elevate his draft status.
