"This was a big game for us to get a win for the seniors and get some momentum going into districts," Onalaska coach Fred Sturza said.

The Loggers led by five after the first and by seven going into halftime, but they really pulled away in the third quarter. In that frame, they outscored the Ducks 29-11.

Noland Brady led the charge with nine points in the third and finished with a game-high 24 points.

"He really wanted the seniors to go out with a win," Sturza said. "I am really proud of his toughness this season."

Maddox McKinley added 13 points, Ethan Thayer scored eight, and Haze Hamrick tallied seven.

Onalaska's three seniors, Logan Sturza, Austin Sturza, and Gage Stoner, scored eight, three, and one, respectively.

"They played exactly like you hoped they would," Fred Sturza said. "They were aggressive on defense and hit a couple big buckets."

Onalaska finishes its regular season 10-10 overall and 8-8 in C2BL play. The Loggers will flip a coin with Rainier to determine the No. 4 or 5 seed in the upcoming district tournament, which begins on Saturday.
