Onalaska made the trip over the mountains for a matchup against Asotin on Friday, and the Loggers' defense dominated in a 54-0 shutout victory.
The Onalaska defense held the Panthers to just 75 yards of total offense, and the unit scored two touchdowns of its own on a pair of pick-sixes from Morgan Allen and Angel Cerseda.
Allen caught his interception off a deflection off his own foot and returned it 65 yards, while Cerseda returned his pick 35 yards.
"Angel and Morgan played really well," Onalaska coach Mazen Saade said. "It was awesome to see those two and our whole defense play really well. They really set the tone for the whole night. The defense played lights out."
Offensively, the Loggers also had a ton of success.
Ethan Thayer ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries, Brody Mitchell added 84 yards and a score on five attempts, and Haze Hamrick needed just three carries to tally 69 yards and a touchdown of his own.
Lane Gordon's only pass attempt of the night was brought in by Carson Albertson, who scored a 19-yard touchdown.
"I thought we the kids executed the game plan real well," Saade said. "What a great challenge for our program. To get on a bus, stay focused, then go beat a high-caliber team. We're gonna enjoy it, then get back to work tomorrow."
The Loggers (5-2, 3-0 C2BL) will head to Toledo next Friday, Oct. 24.
