They play different positions.

We drafted Darius Robinson and Walter Nolen in the hope that they may, some day, be as good as Zach Allen is right now.
oof. Sorry.

So we need CC and DRob to produce about as much as Allen? (Not counting on anything from Nolan). Hopeful at best.

So Shane that’s why guys are still talking about it.

ZA leaving, no matter the circumstances, was a bad result. And it keeps getting worse.

Until the situation is corrected, it’s going to get commented on.

Ummm we can close the book already. Dudes gone. Why people keep rehashing is beyond me. Nothings changing.
Sometimes people want to sign elsewhere for whatever reason. People just can't let it go. Like their highschool girl friend that broke their heats. Still pining over it years later

I get that, but I just think several of us are exhausted of the constant 20/20 vision post-factual criticism because it serves nothing.

The new regime wanted to tear down everything and build a new culture and team. ZA didn’t want part of that and that is super unfortunate. But why beat a dead horse about a player that didn’t want to be part of the team 2 years ago when it’s clear that rebuilding is working. How Monti has mitigated the shitshow on the front 7 is far more interesting to me.

Just my two cents.

I don’t mind the Steelers. I generally like their style. But I can’t stand Mike Tomlin. I think he’s an arrogant delta. And those types who act like that while waving a cross in front of everyone’s face at all times make me want to barf. On them, in particular.

Now for the Iggles. I don’t mind them. I don’t mind their fans. They are what they are. If the US got invaded would anyone blink at sending in a few thousand Eagles fans to sort crap out? Nope. But what really irks me is their helmets. They just don’t work. It just doesn’t read like an eagles wing. They end up looking like cheap, contrived, dollar store props stapled to the side of a helmet. Which in true red blooded eagle fashion, is green. Fing Green is the official shade. I’m sure TruColor is hovering, waiting to jump on that.
Brotha, you speak the pure truth. I always called that green Hefty Bag green, and the wing CLEARLY looks like a 5th grader drew it. There's nothing intimidating or regal about it. The OLD logo and color scheme are where it's at. In fairness, they have maybe the 2nd best throwbacks in the league after Tampa's in my opinion. Those Vermeil era unis are beautiful and look great on them currently.

It is odd. I dont think he changes the win total much with as bad as the Cards were in 2023. So you keep a foundational piece and still maybe get MHJ (or Nabers or Alt)

Never understood the timeline thing Cards media tried to spin. Lets hope Monti pays them if they are Cards 2022 Zach Allen good.

trust me, it dont matter who we sign or draft. Ten...fifteen years from now...when we lose a game because we couldnt get pressure..or stop the run...or literally any other reason...

somebody on here will bring up zach allen and how stupid monti sent an email to his grandma and told her to go get Zach out of the shower and tell him we dont want him back at any price or for any reason...or how Mike had his locker packed up for him and all his stuff sent to his house via UPS...with a bill for the shipping cost

it will happen.

While I'm not sure, but I don't believe that ZA has won a SB. I assume that he's made multiple Pro Bowls, but I don't know how many. Can anyone help with that?

Allen has never been voted to the Pro Bowl, but oddly enough, he was a 2nd-team AP All-Pro last season.

Yay playing starters - some know how I feel about being ready for that first regular season game / it’s as important as the last /or determines how important the last games are - or not !

Fear and faith can not live on the same field.

Been gone most of 3 years in the philipines , now I’m a 61 old daddy to a 2 and 6 year old Cardinal fans!
So I grew up on preseason being a full quarter of the season, you know Browns Leroy Kelly, perfect dolphins, raiders, Steelers , cowboys ….
Preseason was important and the first games were high quality, not a full 1/4 of the regular season as a shot show. Yes there is some quality , but mistakes determine the outcome of the majority of NFL games. Continuity and consistency are not accidents in the army or in sports.
You have to earn it and you can not cheat it.
12 game seasons made every game more important,
but did it?
We have the run game as the engine, now set a tendency, so when you break it, chances of rewards increase , while risks reduce.
Packers mastered few plays back in the day, same as the perfect Dolphins, that formula still works for several teams, year in and year out for my lifetime, quality of players decrease with winning but the quality of the team does not have too.
Cardinal up and take it like a fan.

I’ve heard that can be a challenging place to live, but it sounds like you had some local guidance.
