That does not matter one iota.

I don't recall anyone sitting back and saying to themselves... sure, our QB runs around like a toddler in trouble and constantly quits... but hey, we're on thursday night this week!

I don't give half a squirt about that crap.
Of course you won’t answer because you have zero measurement of substance to back your claim.

National games show exactly what the actual NFL thinks of this team with and without K1.

With K1 we have the possibility of winning and competing.
Without him zero chance (1-11) and underdogs in every single game including at home against the Jets and Raiders.

Keep coping though.

To demonstrate how idiotic your point is... we had a season where we were left off the primetime slate WITH KYLER.

Not being on national TV is not remotely as embarrassing as having to put clauses in your starting quarterbacks contract to make sure he watches any film.

Or his teammates having to beg him to stay in a freaking playoff game.

That is embarrassing.

Or having his season end because he took a football off the face and then his fragile mind couldn’t handle watching his back up win a game.

All that crap was national news, complete and utter embarrassment with Kyler front and center.

Another K1 carries rhis pathetic franchise stat.

Another dumb and self defeating point.

One... wow... look at the insane amount of games this fragile guy misses... he's missed 25 games just in the last few years!

That is a serious problem.

Two... we are not good when he's HEALTHY over that same span!

Every team who is has a 50 million dollar budget being used on a QB sucks when that guy goes down... the difference with us is, we were not good when he is healthy... because we were blowing 50 million on Sam Bradford with wheels.

After the hits I saw JB take it’s no wonder he is out.

This line has been absolutely lacking by NFL standards at protecting the QB and actually forming a pocket.

This is the problem. The team sucks and 2 wins without their star QB absolutely shows it.

But let’s jettison the QB in favor of vibes and feelings for 2 backups and a rookie without any other improvements.

What could go wrong?

Can’t wait for another 2-3 win season.

Jettisoning the QB wasn't the problem; not jettisoning him years earlier was A problem. THE problem was that there was no follow-up/replacement plan. Kyler was never the answer, but Monti still doesn't even seem to know what the question is.

Agree wholeheartedly

But that again plays into my issue. This team let a good QB down by not building and preparing.

Cedee Lamb
DK Metcalf
Will Anderson
Numerous olinemen
Allen & Murphy

Hiring Novice coaches and GMs that have to learn on the job.

Not a single thread of continuity since K1 was drafted.

Could the team have done better--much, much better--in supporting KM? I don't think there's a single fan that can go against that. Could KM have done a lot more to be better and help himself and thus the team improve? Again, that's undeniable. Will he change in the future? I have my doubts. The biggie, though, is can he suddenly learn how to process at speed and play within a structured system? My doubts grow to certainties that he cannot. Unfortunately, I don't think he has the processing speed to be a top QB. And that's not a knock on him--that you either have or you don't.

They've been to 4 Super Bowls. All in the 1970s. So, they were really good 50 plus years ago. 70, 74, 75, and 77. Same winning percentage in the big game as the Cardinals. This is a results-driven league and being really good but not winning it all doesn't do much to separate you from the perennial doormats in the league who get good every once in a long while.

Its so delusional but also very on brand for here.

Like we wouldn't swap franchise histories with them in a heartbeat.
The Minnesota Vikings are basically the Utah Jazz. Lots of regular season success, the most actually, without ever having won a championship in the modern era.

The similarities between MN and AZ sports is pretty similar tbh. Lots of regular season success with nothing to show for it. Wild..Wolves...Vikes...Suns..Cards..Yotes..

I don't think Kyler is going to alter their trajectory, but if the Vikings are the Jazz we're the Sacramento Kings.

They've been better but still have nothing to show for it. Hilarious.
lemme ask you this... do you think you've enjoyed sundays watching football just as much as Vikings fans for the last 38 years, even though their wins and playoff appearances dwarf ours during that stretch?

If you say you do, that would make you one of the biggest losers as a fan i can ever imagine because it basically means you don't care if your team wins or not. Most seasons, Vikings fans get to watch their team win and get to the playoffs. Most seasons, we're a laughingstock. If you don't see the tonnage of diference between those two, you're blind as a bat.

would you rather be a Jazz fan (while they were still contenders) or a perpetual Washington Wizards fan? Because that's the equivalent of what the Cardinals are in the NFL.
