Stops it until the ball is set for next play...at the 5 minutes to go mark, the old rules apply, where clock fully stops when going out of bounds and doesn't start again until the next snap. At least that's what I think the change was several years ago.

I must have missed that change I never noticed before that they restart it on runs out of bounds.

I guess it speeds the game up

That’s not an issue. The problem is we can’t get 10 on 3 plays. Well generally go 1,2, and 3-5 depending how loose the d is playing

I would have never said this a month ago but you actually CAN make a case for trading David Johnson if you can get a good return in the trade. This team needs so much help right now and while he's good, he doesn't look special right now. If you can get another good pick or player so you can go BPA in the draft and fill some holes it's worth considering. I'd prefer to keep him, I doubt anybody is going to give us a 1st right now given the way he's playing, but almost worth seeing what his market value actually is.
