Two assists? What happened. He actually passed a ball out to someone? :)

The worst three line ups had Dillon Brooks in them. Three of the top four best line ups did not have Dillon Brooks in them.

Just sayin.

He needs to look to pass more. It made some sense why he shot so much early with Jalen out but he seemed to let that go to his head and shot more as the year continued. He shot just 38% from the field post All-Star break and 30% from 3. On the year he shot 44% and 34% from 3 in 17 total attempts. More troubling is he shot 38% from the field and 31% from 3 on the road, which is a huge swing from 48% and 38% from 3 at home. February on is when he fell apart. Shooting below 40% each month.

I love what he brings but he needs to be reeled in offensively. If he wants an extension then he needs to get it together or take a discount. They have until June 30th 2027 to re-sign him so there is no need to rush. His max is 4 years and $125 million but the team has indicated they won't offer that so they can maintain some flexibility plus he'll be turning 32 the first season of the extension.

Extension info is according to Jake Fischer w/ Bleacher Report

Here's a link to his splits which show his stats monthly, pre and post All-Star break, opponent specific, and some other grouping.

How about fouls called as percentage of shots/flops attempted? Shai would be close to 70%.

That's what we need, mathematical algorithms. Soon AI robots may be calling the games.

Summer League can't start soon enough.

Any line up where Dillon considers himself the #1 scoring option is in trouble.

He did a lot to change the culture, but I hope we're smart on an extension.

As the season went on, and he went more and more into hero mode, his impact went down. He's a solid defender but not an elite one, offensively... he's a real mixed bag. Really good low post game, but his outside shooting... teams kinda dare him to shoot, and he obliges.

~20 mil a year, is reasonable. 3 years, 60-70 mil, that would be a solid extension.

If we do something bonkers like... 4 years at 30 million+ a season... woof.

Well yeah, we started a tailspin when he and Mark Williams got injured.

We need to factor in cost per technical as well
