I know I'll probably get slammed for asking this, and there are only a few games left in the regular season and all playoff games will be nationally televised, but, I am curious if anyone knows what happened to Raptorsnation.net. Nothing but a blank screen appears now.

It's not really a big deal to me because I am fortunate enough to live in Las Vegas and can easily drive a few miles to the nearest casino and watch tonights game in their Sports Book, but the streaming on that website helped alot of other Suns fans who dont have NBALP or are in another country to watch the Suns. I guess I'm more curious than anything else to know what happened to them.

Its gone forever. Probably the NBA tracked them down. I know other sites that host Suns games live.

Thats too bad....it was good while it lasted though. I got to see many Suns games this season because I was too lazy to get up and go to the casino...LOL

I didn't know there were other sites that host Suns games live.

They seem to close down shop every few months, rework everything, and have even re-established under different URLs temporarily. There is a global demand for what he is doing, and I wouldnt expect him to just move on right before the playoffs. Unless he is losing tons of money, which is doubtful since he has recently threw up google ads and other sponsors.

In other words, I think holding your breath might be the best course for the time being until he throws it back online in some form. myp2p, http://www1.myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=&part=sports&discipline=basketball
is going to be your best bet for now.

If "they" really did in fact get raptorsnation shut down, then it seems you are really never safe from the big bad corporate USA suits unless you are in some part of asia or the middle east it seems. Kind of alarming to me to be honest.

It does that all the time. It's "gone" for a day or two, then back again, then down again, not sure what happens with it.

Next season I'm gonna quit being a cheap ass and just get NBA League Pass, then I don't have to worry about it. The online feeds are cool and all, I used them a lot, but in the end, nothing is as good as actually just paying for league pass. If you consider the number of games you get with league pass, it's actually a really good deal.

That's exactly what they want to do to you... force you to buy their package.

Yeah, I'm going to buy it as well next year, (regardless of what the cheap ass husband says) even though I can just as easy go to any casino and watch all the games, it's just so much nicer and more comfortable sitting at home.

I just may be single when the next season arrives anyway

I thought you posted the asiaplate thing, which required you to install spyware to get the links.

Asiaplate just hosts the links, of what Channel TVAnts or Sopcast has that days games on. They come in way better then that Justin.TV terrible streams. If you dont have Sopcast or TVAnts the games will not open. Its like a MMS link to Windows Media player on Raptorsnation.

Correct, but I believe to view the asiaplate links you have to install that zongo thing. I agree the links are nice though.

p.s. TVAnts takes like 3-4 minutes sometimes to lock in the stream completely, is this normal?

That Zongo thing, you do not need and it is a trick download, that is like clicking a link that says you one 500 dollars, stay away from it. Just click the Sopcast or TV Ants icon next to the game and it should open in the appropriate player, if you have both installed and up to date. TV ants does take a minute to load, but it rarely Buffers, which is a fair trade off.
