Notre dame football has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country, with 23 commits its an elite group with tons of talent.
There isn’t much room for more prospects, but safety verbal Zayden Gamble thinks there will be another addition to the secondary. Three others are committed with him, cornerbacks Xavier Hasan and Ace Alston and safety John Gay, make up a pretty talented group of players.
Gamble went to social media and said “I feel like we need 1 more DB on Board… I think I got one in mind
” adding some fuel to an upcoming commitment. Most likely it will be a flip, the most of the top ranked players have already made up their minds.
If I had to guess, it most likely would be a player in Gamble’s home state of Florida, as Notre Dame has done a great job recruiting the state. “Florida Dame” has become a trending topic on social media, as the Irish continue to make a strong footprint there.
By the numbers, it does make sense to add another defensive back to the class, as Notre Dame typically takes at least five a class. If Gamble is correct, it will be interesting to see who emerges as the target.
