Our offseason profile series on FSU basketball’s new additions continues with Jordan Silversmith writing up a look at Anthony Robinson:
After finishing fifth in the Columbus Regional, No. 23 FSU men’s golf is headed to its sixth consecutive NCAA Championship:
The Seminoles shot +31 for the event and finished in fifth place, with the top-5 teams advancing to the Men’s Golf Championship, which will be held at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, May 29-June 3.
Jack Whaley was one of just four golfers to shoot under-par Wednesday, tying for the low score in the final round with a 1-under 70. Whaley was +4 for the tournament to tie for seventh overall.
Jack Bigham was +2 73 Wednesday, while Wilmer Edero shot a +3 74. The two tied for 23rd overall with a +9 222.
Carson Brewer was 6-over on Wednesday, while Patrick McCann was +10 in the final round.
Shooting 10-over in the third round, Florida State began the day in sixth place and jumped Long Beach State for the final spot in the NCAA Championship. The final round was delayed two hours due to weather and began with a shotgun start.
