STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) — The Georgia Tech baseball team defeated Georgia Southern by the largest margin of victory in the series’ history, dating back to 1988, on Tuesday at J.I. Clements Stadium.
Georgia Tech defeated Georgia Southern, 25-1. The teams did not agree to a run-rule before the contest so they played in nine innings.
Georgia Southern falls to 0-4 on the year. The Eagles began the season getting swept at home by West Virginia.
The next time Georgia Southern can look to get a win is Friday when they travel to South Florida for a three-game series.
